REAP administers the Moray Community Grants Programme on behalf of Highlands and Islands Enterprise Moray (HIE Moray). The Community Grants Programme is designed to assist community organisations, charities and social enterprises develop their capacity to carry out their activities and to assist the development of community assets (both buildings and events). Applicants most show that the grant will assist their organisation become more economically sustainable or will allow them to operate in a more profitable or sustainable manner.
The most recent round of grant funding is for the year up to July 2008 and can cover 75% of costs for grants up to £1,000 and 50% of costs for grants of between £1,000 and £5,000. The match funding can be made up of external financial contributions, the recipients own funds or from 'in-kind' donations from organisations or volunteers. Grants of over £3,000 for developing community assets can be made for large scale projects where HIE Moray's involvement will be crucial to the success of the initiative.

The application form on PDF can be printed off, completed and returned to REAP through the post. The MS Word version can be saved onto computer, completed then returned to REAP through the post or e-mail. Applicants must include a copy of their constitution, the sustainability checklist and a set of their most recent audited accounts or bank statement.
