Who’s the garden for?
It’s for the many of us whose mental and physical health well-being can be boosted by the amazing power of growing.
Working with others in nature to achieve things, getting our hands in the soil and watching things grow, and harvesting and eating tasty organic local food are all good for you – and the experts agree too!
What could I be doing?
There are a range of activities on offer each session, such as sowing seeds, cultivating plants, planting trees and building and painting raised beds.
We’re a diverse mix of ages and interests and everyone works at their own pace.
It’s all free and cuppas provided!
When does it run?
Every Monday 1–4pm, plus a drop-in themed event 1-4pm on the first Thursday of the month, where we do things like cooking the produce or having workshops to learn new skills. Come for all or part of the session.
I’d like to give it a go – sign me up!
