REAP Food Waste Challenge (3 part course cookery course) @ The Inkwell Community Kitchen
Oct 24 @ 10:30 am – 11:30 am

The REAP Food Waste Challenge will help you figure out how much food is really going to waste in your home and what you can do to waste less. By making small shifts in how you shop for, prepare, and store food, you can save time and money, and keep the valuable resources used to produce and distribute food from going to waste!

So come and join us for this 3 part food waste challenge at The Inkwell Community Kitchen, Francis Place, Elgin, IV30 1LQ

Part 1 is held on Thursday 24th October and lasts for an hour (10.30am-11.30am). In that hour we will explain what all the course involves and to pass on your information pack.

Part 2 is held on Thursday 31st October and lasts for two hours (10.30am-12.30pm). In that two hours you will prepare and cook some delicious, seasonal and locally produced foods. Once the dishes are cooked you will get a chance to sample them and also learn more about how you can cut down your food waste.

Part 3 is held on Thursday 14th November and lasts for two hours (10.30am-12.30pm). In that two hours you will prepare and cook some delicious, seasonal and locally produced foods. Once the dishes are cooked you will get a chance to sample them and exchange with others in the group your experience of the challenge, share tips and discuss how you have cut down on your food waste.
